Cricket is a gentleman’s game when you respect each other on the field. It doesn’t matter which team you belong to, it all depends on how you treat others with dignity. In a game where players’ intention is just to win games, at times, when things go beyond control, players act unprofessionally like Ben Stokes did.

During the bilateral ODI series between Bangladesh and England, things got under way when two teams exchanged words got into ugly scenes which deemed contrary to the spirit of cricket. Bangladesh got the better of England and won the first ODI.

After the result of the match, when players shook hands with each other, Ben Stokes breached the code of behavior in what the vice-captain got furious and shoved Tamim Iqbal just like that. Ben Stokes was not being conducive to disciplinary action which turned him into an unprofessional cricketer.

However, the all-rounder didn’t get on well after that, as once again he gave a poor gesture in the warm-up match between Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) XI and England. After the end of the match which resulted in a draw, players came forward to exchange regards as it’s a meaning of Sportsmanship.
