To bowl Virat Kohli in nets is my Biggest Achievement: Aniket Choudhary

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s new pace bowler Aniket Choudhary is very excited after getting an impressive IPL Indian Premier League contract. He also showed happiness about BCCI choosing him to bowl to Indian test batsmen ahead of test series at home.

“I was there when the Indian team was preparing for the Test series against New Zealand and people said I was preparing them for the Trent Boult-challenge and here I am bowling to them going into the Test series against India and the media is talking about me preparing them for the Starc-Test. But I don’t like to get into these things. My job is to go out there and help the batsmen get a good net session,” he said,” Aniket said.

Choudhary is currently in Pune and helping the Indian batsmen especially captain Virat Kohli in the nets. The reason behind this is the left armed overseas bowler who travel to India. This time the stern test is against Mitchell Starc. And his bowling style is very similar to him.

“I was there when the Indian team was preparing for the Test series against New Zealand and people said I was preparing them for the Trent Boult-challenge and here I am bowling to them going into the Test series against India and the media is talking about me preparing them for the Starc-Test. But I don’t like to get into these things. My job is to go out there and help the batsmen get a good net session,” he added.

IPL is a great platform for youngsters to showcase their talent and make the national selectors rethink about them when selecting future sides. But when giving the net sessions to team India, he also wants to improve his limited overs bowling ability for upcoming season of IPL. Because he has been a strong aspect in test level but a bit inexperienced in limited overs.
