Rishabh Pant is undoubtedly one of the most talented cricketers in the moder era. The left handed batsman has been absolutely sensational for his nation with the bat so far in his career. The player has come to his team’s rescue on a number of ocassions with incredibly important batting performances. His contributions from behind the wicket with the wicket keeping gloves on has also been quite impressive over the past several years. The player turned 26 years old today. The player’s birthday celebrations that took place at the NCA gained a lot of attention of several netizens as they began reposting it on various social media platforms.
Pant’s birthday celebration was a pretty memorable one. The video showed him cutting a cake in the NCA while being accompanied by Prithvi Shaw, Axar Patel and a couple more members of the coaching staff. Rishabh Pant was being held tightly from the back by a member while Axar Patel and Prithvi Shaw covered Pant’s entire face with the cake while celebrating. Axar in particular seemed absolutely amused during the celebrations as he smeared the cake all over Pant’s face including his hair.
The wicket keeper batsman who has been a regular part of the Indian cricket team as a middle order batter over the past few years was involved in a brutal accident in December last year. This lead him to be off the field for several months thereon. Pant however didn’t let that take a toll on his game as he began with the recovery procedures to get back to the cricket field as soon as possible. The Delhi boy has scored a total of over 4000 runs in international cricket and has smashed test centuries against Australia, England and South Africa. It remains to be seen as to how much time it takes him to get back to the field and fully reach his earlier potential.
