Watch Ravichandran Ashwin’s juggling catch

Did Ravichandran Ashwin mess up the only opportunity that the team had during tight situation against Australia? No! Ashwin became the hero of the situation by taking a nervous catch that had triple chances before taking one clear-cut catch in his safe pair of hands.

Though India’s batting flopped on opening day, the team wanted to show some kind of intent in the bowling unit. The Indian bowlers might have fallen short on Day 1 but showed great character today as they ran through Australia’s half of the batting line-up before Tea session.

The highlight of the day was the spin-twin effect that came into view. Ravindra Jadeja was brought into the bowling attack and Peter Handscomb who was at the striker’s end targetted at the mid-wicket where Ravi Ashwin was there to take that catch successfully.

India’s Ishant Sharma might have bowled a couple of no balls that troubled him on opening day. But, not on the second day for sure. The lanky pacer worked exceptionally hard to try hitting the right lines and lengths which saw Aussies struggling to face Ishant.
